Interruptions: $650B lost in productivity

I saw this a week or so ago in BusinessWeek, and found it interesting then. Today, in AMR Research's blog and newsletter, First Thing Monday, Bruce Richardson picked up on the topic.

Bruce highlights one piece of a painful reality:
  • Due to the volume of e-mails, you will likely change tasks every three minutes. The constant interruptions lead to stress. According to the article, “nearly a third of workers are chronically overworked and are more likely to be stressed, depressed, and in poor health.”
